Offline Database


Healthdata was also available as a disc based offline database, also in the viewdata format.  It seems as if it was mostly a copy of the online content, so we present it here for your delight and access..

     3. Wipe your bottom from front to  
 back to avoid bringing organisms from  
 the bowel to the vulva.                
                                        
     4. Don't use highly perfumed soaps,
 disinfectants, or vaginal deodorants.  
 These all irritate the vulval skin and 
 will make things much worse.           
                                        
     5. Antibiotics often cause a flare 
 up of thrush. If this happens to you,  
 tell your doctor. It may be possible to
 avoid them or give you some treatment  
 for thrush as well.                    
                                        
     6. Men can carry thrush organisms. 
 He may need to be treated too.
