Introduction
Healthdata was a dial-up viewdata service that provided information on health topics for adults and schoolchildren. With over 1000 pages of rapidly changing data, it was a very useful resource. It was opened in 1985, and ran until 1992, and was operated and run by Dr Chris Dobson.
It was also available as an offline, paid-subscription, database, also in viewdata format, for the BBC, Nimbus or PC. We have a copy of this available to view here.
