Breast Cancer Mammography Special x-rays of the breasts can show the changes in density of breast tissue that is associated with early breast cancer. The procedure, known as mammograghy, is available in most large hospitals. It is planned to make this test freely available to all women to screen for breast cancer. At first the test will be offered to older women, who are more at risk. Soon younger age groups will be checked. Mammography is no substitute for regular breast self-examination. key 1 for Cervical Smear test
