   NEWS 13 bulletin boards raided   WED

 Early morning police raids on 13       
 computer bulletin board premises has   
 resulted in the arrests of 13 people   
 and the confiscation of about £25,000  
 worth of computer and communications   
 equipment.                             
                                        
 The raids, code named Operation        
 Southall, were carried out by the      
 Thames Valley Police Regional Crime    
 Squad, assisted by personnel from      
 British Telecom.                       
                                        
 The 13 arrested come from London,      
 Newcastle, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, 
 Sheffield, Glasgow and Worcester. All  
 have been released on police bail.
